Born in East Stroudsburg, after graduating from East Stroudsburg High School, Margaret was employed as a bookkeeper by Tri-State News Agency and Avalon Imports before starting her family; and then later by Holiday Gift Center. She also spent years operating the switchboard for Van Horn Telephone Answering Service. She earned her cosmetology licenses for operator, manager, and teacher at the Stroudsburg School of Cosmetology; later operating her own shop for years in the family home on Maple Avenue. For 13 years she was integral in operating the family owned Pocono Travel Services.
Retiring to Naples, FL, she enjoyed reading, staying current with national/international events and maintaining cherished friendships; annual visits from her "Other Boys" were most treasured.
She is survived by her son Troy, several nieces, nephews, their children, grandchildren and cousins; and numerous acquaintances made through her journey in this mortal plain.
Margaret was always thoughtful and curious of history and nature.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth, father Harry, brother Donald, sisters Hilda and Marie; and husband of 49 years Robert.
Interment will be at Naples Memorial Gardens in Naples, FL.
