Ken was born in New York City to Duncan and Josephine Sheppard. Prior to relocating to Naples in 1999 Ken spent 45 years in the flooring industry as a member of Local Union 2212 and owner of GT Flooring in New Jersey. He was a member of the Collier County Fruit Growers Association.
Ken is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Catherine; daughter, Elizabeth (Marc) Gaudiosi; sister, Joyce Finn; sister-in-law, Marie (John) Huber; nieces and nephews, Debra Pierro, Stephen, Marc and Melissa Huber; Ken is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Ken is a blessing to all the lives he has touched.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens.
A mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Thursday, October 10, at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Naples Memorial Gardens.
