My best memory of Uncle Ken is all those mornings headed out to the woods with him and my Dad. We would cut down a bunch of trees and split the firewood and load the trucks to take the wood home. It was lots of hard work but being a kid and trying to keep up with the men was priceless. It has been years since I've had to cut firewood, but every time I fire up that chainsaw I still think of those days. RIP Uncle Ken.

My first encounter with Ken, was when he came to me and asked me to sell his motor home on e-bay. I was familiar with car parts so why not a car...or motor home? I came to the house and took pictures. We made an extensive list of amenities. I listed the motor home with my e-mail and Kens phone number and after a couple weeks a guy inquired about the RV. I put him in touch with Ken and they came to an agreement on price and delivery.  To our amazement, his motor home was going to find a new home in the country of England! The transaction took place with the conversion of pounds to US dollars, and a driver showed up to drive the RV to a port in NYC for shipping. Ken and I were so surprised, we kidded about the streets being so narrow in England that the RV would never fit down them! But my most fondest memory is picking blue berries under the netting in the Kens' back yard. Pick one, eat two! Pint after pint. Thanks Ken for stopping by the house and making me take time to smell the roses and have a cold one. And Mary my friend, I know this isn't how you envisioned your golden years, but God must have needed Ken more and knew you would be OK without him. My door is always open, and my heart goes out to you!
