Born March 5, 1943, Judith was born, raised and reared her family on Detroit’s east side. She retired in Naples, Fla., to be close to family.
Her roots were never far. She loved fashion from her early days of window display at J.L. Hudson Company and enjoyed festivities with dear friends.
Judy worked and played hard and has been called to be with the Lord and her husband, Robert “Bob” C. Schmidt, who preceded her passing by 25 years.
Judith was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Stokes; children Jeffry Schmidt (Jennifer) and Jill Gingrich (Nathan); and grandchildren Julian, Jahbriel, Morgan and Luke.
