Joanie was born in Colfax, WA to Marcella and Joseph Caraher. She met her beloved husband of 55 years, Patrick, in high school, and he preceded her in death. After raising their seven children, Joanie and Pat enjoyed traveling the world and made wonderful memories. Joanie had many friends and was a well-loved member of the Naples community since 1998. She attended daily Mass and had great devotion to Our Blessed Mother. For her family, Joanie provided advice and encouragement, and always kept her sense of humor. She was there for the many graduations, weddings, and new babies. Joanie was a sports enthusiast and loved following baseball, college football, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Joanie will be greatly missed by her children and families: Patrick Kirk, Jr.: Patrick III, Kylie, Morgan and Carson; Kelly (Dan) Florin: Dan, Brittany, Kristen, Brian, Kaitlyn, Michael and Anna; Erin (Patrick) O'Hearn: Megan, Patrick, Shannon and Ryan; Casey (Don) Stuart: Colin, Michael and Lauren; Brian (Rachel) Kirk: Max, Molly, Jack and Patrick; Courtney (John) Klevanosky: Tommy, Kerrigan and Johnny; Mary Beth Kendra: Caroline, Quinn and Savannah and nineteen great- grandchildren.
