Born to the late Doff & DeMerse Daniel of Beckley, W.Va. on June 18th 1928.
As her children, we have lost our best friend and confidant.
Jo was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She'll be missed by her family and friends. During her life, she enjoyed many hobbies: bowling and bridge being her favorites. She was also an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George E. Powell Jr and brothers, Doff & George Daniel.
She is survived by her children: George E. (Jenny) Powell III, Paige (Michael) Richardson; grandchildren: DeMerse Richardson, Arlo Richardson; brother: John (Rita) Daniel; and extended family and friends.
Services will be held Sunday, July 8th at 11:00am at Hodges Funeral Home 525 111th Ave. N.
