We just recently returned to Naples after being in CT. for the summer and I just found out about Janet. 
I met Janet at St. Agnes Church & my husband and I would sit next to her at the Saturday mass. 
I will so miss seeing her each week!  She was such a delightful lady!
My heart goes out to her family. I am so very sorry for your loss. 

We met Janet & Gene  at happy hour when we first moved into the Quarry 2013. Shortly afterward, we formed a ladies lunch bunch, enjoyed socializing at various events, played mahjong and did water aerobics.   Janet was a compassionate and caring woman.  I have many personal memories.  Loved seeing her & Gene at the pool on Sundays, always reading and sharing family stories.  Her family meant the world to her.  Luckily, I saw her in March.   She told me of her illness.  She looked wonderful and was confident.  I’m sure it was because of her deep faith in God.   Janet, Rest In Peace.  Gene and family, we are truly sorry for your loss.  


What a beautiful picture of Janet.  I got to know Janet at the gym, where we talked every week.  She always spoke of Gene & her family & loved  to have her family visit.   I last saw her in May,  & knowing about her illness I was always so impressed with how healthy & how good she looked.  So sorry for your loss.  We will also miss her.   

Dear Gene,  So very sorry to hear about Janets  passing. I will never forget the kindness she showed us by bringing us a fresh loaf of her freshly baked bread to welcome us to the neighborhood last year.  
Though we were leaving the next day we still enjoyed her her bread in New Jersey.  She seemed  to be a very special person and I'm sorry not to have known her better. May you keep all the wonderful memories of her in your heart to give you comfort in the days ahead.


So sorry for your loss.  She always had a smile on her face when I saw her, and she always remembered my name, though we did not run into each other all that often.

I have known Janet for many years. We would bump into each other while walking and chi chat a bit.  She always greeted me with a warm smile. I could tell she was a loving woman. I was always happy when meeting her. I was so shocked when I received the email. So so very sorry for your heartache.

My sincere sadness for your loss. I first met Jan at the gym. Then, we would see each other at Potluck dinners and Ladies Luncheons. Her blue cheese dressing was amazing. She was sweet  and kind throughout the years at The Quarry.

There are so many beautiful memories to share but I will limit it.  I remember going to Saint James lake and had a blast. I was only 13 and packed for hot weather and a cold front came in.  Aunt Janet brought us to a little shop there for jeans and a sweat shirt. I thought that was the greatest thing ever! She had the heart of gold.  Her house was always perfect before she would do anything.  She always had such a positive attitude. Now she is at peace with my Aaron, Tim, Cory and her parents. Rest in peace Aunt Janet. We love you!♥️

Janet is my grandma Suzanne’s sister. I remember without fail that I’d receive a birthday card from Uncle Gene and Aunt Janet every single year. I hardly knew them, but am blessed to be a part of such a loving family that extends across what might appear to be distant lines of relation. I can only imagine how special she made her immediate children and grandchildren feel. Will surely miss those birthday cards! 

Gene and family, we were shocked to hear of Janet's passing, did not know she was dealing with cancer.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.  She was a great lady, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. We have so many wonderful memories of family time together and know you have many more.  Dwell on all the good ones and remain strong for everyone but most of all for yourself.

My deepest sympathy to you all. So glad I was able to see her back in March. I will always remember what a strong lady she was, and who raised three strong spitfires of her own. I’m sure she’s already runn’in the show in her own little spot in Heaven.   Remember all the good times and keep them close in your hearts.
