Dear Nellie & Family,

My sincere & heartfelt condolences to you all during this very difficult time.  I'm so sorry to hear of Uncle James's passing, and I regret not being able to attend his memorial service.  I'm so glad that I was able to see you & James, and your daughters last summer at my dad's cookout ~ it had been 40 years since I'd seen you both.  I remember, as a child, "Uncle Jimmy" being such a nice & gentle person.  I'll also cherish the wonderful family get-together we had at your beautiful cabin in NC last fall.
May God give you & your family strength, comfort, and peace during this time of sorrow.

Whether it was about firestopping, racing, the log cabin or his grandchildren, talking with James always brought a smile on my face.

James will be sadly missed by all of us in the Drywall profession. He truly was recognized as one of the most knowledgeable individuals in our industry. I will miss seeing him around.

I spent the first two weeks of my career over 20 years ago with James.  He was very well respected in our industry and almost always the smartest person in the room.  He taught me the value of hard word work.  He was a principal based person focusing his life on his family and values.  I know he was very proud of his children.  I think of him often.  May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of James's passing.  He was one of most giving human beings that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  His brother Roger and I share many fond memories of time we spent with James over the years.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this most difficult time.

I was very fortunate to have worked with James for the past 15 years. He was one of the most giving person that I have ever meet. He always took the time to help me when I needed it.
