Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave. N, Naples, FL 34108. Reception to follow.
Hsin-Ting was born in Taipei, Taiwan, the second oldest son in a family of ten. He was a serial entrepreneur with a passion for the restaurant business. With a vision of providing opportunity to his family, he brought his family to the United States and settled in Naples in 1980. Hsin-Ting founded DaRuMa Japanese Steak House, which grew to locations in Naples, Ft. Myers and Sarasota. Up until this year, he still enjoyed spending most evenings at the restaurant greeting customers and watching over operations.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lin Huei-Yi; children: Ming-ming Chang (Chun-Ching Huang), Tony Chang (Jennifer), Grace Bolen and Gigi Parke (Mathew); and grandchildren: Alexandra, Eric, Ryan, Stephen, Isabelle, Kevin, Stephanie, Chloe, Cameron and Maisie.
