Helen Louise Henning Swanson went home to heaven January 4, 2018. She would have been 91 this month. Helen was born January 25, 1927 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Paul Otto Henning and Alice Beatrice Staley Henning. Their family moved to Erie, PA in 1944 where she met and later married William (Bill) Swanson in 1946. Together with their youngest daughter they moved to sunny Florida in 1974 where she spent her last 44 years.
Helen is survived by her son William Paul (Diana) Swanson, daughters Lou Ann (William) Bestwick and Lee Ann Cecil, grandchildren William Swanson, Elizabeth Swanson, Phillip (Jennifer) Swanson, Walter (Brigid) Bestwick, Anna (Steve) Lange, Erik Bestwick, Andrew Bestwick, and Thomas (Kristen) Cecil, great grandchildren Emerson, Calior, Atty, Olivia, Christian, Addison and Kalissa, cousins Kathleen McCallum and Maryann Castle. She was predeceased by her Parents Paul and Alice Beatrice Staley Henning, Husband William Elmer Swanson,
Sister Alice Pauline Henning Lindgren and husband Donald Lindgren, and son-in-law Thomas Cecil.
