Harry David Hammond Jr. of Estero, Florida passed away on March 19, 2015. He was born in Paterson, N.J. on March 21, 1933 and graduated from Passaic Valley High School in Little Falls, NJ. He was the husband of the late Rose Marie Hammond, son of the late Harry David Hammond Sr. and Edna
and Jack Turner his stepfather.
Mr. Hammond worked for Watson Machines Inc., in Paterson N.J. for many years as a bookkeeper/shipping Clerk. He was a former member of the Boys Club of West Paterson, NJ and President of the Boys Club. Former member of the American Legion Post of Bonita Springs, Florida. Harry is a former President of Sunny Grove Park in Estero for 6 years. Mr. Hammond was a Korean War Veteran in the U.S. Army.
Harry is survived by Jo-Ann and (Duane) Tomkins, Richard and (Frances) Hammond, June Ruffalo, and Joyce Taylor and Brother-in-law Edward Syknowa. Beloved Uncle of many nieces and nephews and Great Uncle and Great -Great Uncle. Funeral Arrangements held by Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N. Naples, Florida 34108. Visitation on Tuesday March 24th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and burial on Wednesday March 25th at 9:00 am from the Funeral Home.
