He was born in 1962 in Rockville Center, NY to William and Gloria Hamill.
Gerry was reared in New York and was a graduate of Ithaca College.
He made his career int he advertising industry, which in time relocated him to Southwest Florida. He moved to Naples in 1992 to be joined with his family.
Gerry was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Hamill.
He is survived by his father, William S. Hamill of Naples, FL; sister Eileen Fiore (Michael)
of Manhattan Beach, CA; and brother Paul Hamill of Naples. He is also survived by his
nephews, Christopher and Jeffrey Fiore; and by his niece and nephew Shelby and Michael Hamill.
Gerry was a member of the Community Congregational Church and will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 9:00 am at the Community Congregational Church , 13500 Tamiami Trail North, Naples, FL 34110.
