Deborah Anne Stokes

Deborah Stokes, 50 of Everglades City, FL., passed away on March 11, 2011. Debbie was born on December 8, 1960 in West Camden, NJ to the late Robert “Bob” Mickens and Marie Mickens. She is survived by her beloved husband; Brett Stokes Sr.; her children, Brett Stokes, Jr., and Jamie Stokes of Everglades City, FL; and the light of her life-her only grandson, Harley Stokes; brother, Bob Mickens Jr; sister, Patti Ritorto and husband Eddie Ritorto; nephews, Seth Mickens, Nicky Ritorto and Eddie Ritorto Jr; late grandpa George Griffin and late beloved gramdma, Marge C. Griffin; late grandpa Albert Mickens and late grandma Teresa Mickens; Aunt Mary who is 97 years old.

Brett, Debbie’s husband, stayed by her side, took care of her, and supported her during her long illness of cancer of which she was a “ survivor”. He was there for her until her death.

Her parents’ family lives in New Jersey and she always enjoyed visiting them each year. She also loved spending time with children and her grandson. Debbie will be sadly missed by her precious family.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 from 10 – 11 AM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave., North, Naples, Florida 34108
