Christopher Cole Gordon

Gordon, Christopher; AKA "Cole" Age 26 Passed away suddenly on August 5, 2017 in Newark, Ohio. He was born in Stafford, Virginia on October 23, 1990. Beloved son of Gene and Terri Gordon of Daytona Beach, Florida (Formerly of Naples). Loving brother of Bradley, Bryan, and the late Brandon Gordon. Dear grandson of Dixie Gordon & Nancy North. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Cole was an Amazing son, family member, and friend to all. He was very active starting as a toddler, he broke his arm jumping off of a swing set. Being the youngest of four boys, his big brothers always looked after him until he grew taller than them. He played Pop Warner football with the Naples Gators. He attended Golden Gate Elementary, East Naples Middle School , and graduated from Naples High School in 2009. He played Football from his freshman through his senior year and was part of the 2007 state championship team as a Junior. Cole always enjoyed watching the Friday night news highlights at the homes of other teammates. He played basketball from freshman through his junior year. He signed a football scholarship at Georgia Southern in Statesboro and played his freshman year and then transferred to Lake Erie College in Painesville, OH to finish out his career. He was majoring in Sports Management. He loved the summer getaways to the Keys for lobster hunting. He was into any water sport from snorkeling to fishing to learning to surf. He would never turn down a good meal. Family and friends meant the most to him. He is going to be missed and loved forever.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 11a.m. until time of funeral service 1p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave. N., Naples, FL.
