Charles "Buster" Nicholas Sr.

Buster was a family man who led a successful career as a contractor, building many homes in the Naples area. He moved to Naples from Somerset, Kentucky in 1955. His passion for building homes and helping families was seen by everyone he knew. Buster’s love for his wife, Linda and the entire family was well known by them all.

Buster was the loving father of Charles “Chuck” (Debbie) Nicholas, Jr., Mitchell Bruce (Mindy) Nicholas, Robert (Lisa) Nicholas, Billy (Susie) Nicholas and loving stepfather of Melissa Heuerman and Frank Gore. He was the proud grandfather of Carrie (Joel) Moss, Ashley (Jason) Dean, Kyle (Kandis) Nicholas, Ryan (Stacy) Nicholas, Christopher (Mandy) Nicholas, Luke (Melissa) Nicholas, Mattie Nicholas, Blaine Nicholas, Jeff (Hannah) Heuerman, Mike Heuerman, Matt Heuerman and Frank Gore, IV. He was also survived by his great-grandchildren Emily and Carter Moss, Kade and Kash Nicholas, Ella Nicholas, and Beau Heuerman and William Nicholas.

He is now united with two grandchildren who predeceased him, Jonathan Charles Nicholas and David Charles Nicholas. Also preceding him in death were his parents, Walter and Nevada Nicholas and his beloved brother Frank Nicholas and niece Debbie Nicholas Morgan.

He was the adored brother of Mrs. Nancy Grant and brother-in-law of Geraldine Nicholas of Somerset, Kentucky and uncle of Vickie (David) Elkin, Nicole (Heath) Dolen and Robby (Michelle) Pierce, Penny (Jim) Caudill, and April (Brant) Norris.

His Faith and love of God was continuously demonstrated to his children and grandchildren by his constant loving example. We are so very grateful for the time we had and look forward to seeing him again in heaven.

Services will be held Friday, April 9th at 11:00 AM at East Naples Baptist Church, 1697 Shadowlawn Drive, Naples, FLorida.
