Carmen Del Valle

She was preceded in death by her daughter Carmen Moux, her brother Ignacio Gomez and her parents Manuel Gomez and Carmen Perez.

She is survived by her loving family, her sister Estrella Rodriguez (and nephews), her children Rafael and Melanie Checo.

Her grandchildren Melissa Calzadilla-Azcuy, Belkis Lorenzo, Jennifer Mons, Eduardo Rodriguez and Natalie Checo.

Her great grandchildren Jonathan Lorenzo, Amanda Lorenzo, Jordan Mons, Ava Azcuy, Edrian Rodriguez, Abigail Azcuy, Jaden Mons, Evan Rodriguez and Ethan Rodriguez.

She was an amazing person, who was strong willed but loved to joke around and would do anything for those she loved. Through life’s difficult challenges, she always found a way to move forward. Even though she presented a strong personality to most, deep inside, she was kind, affectionate and loving.

Carmen (Mami/Abuela) will be missed dearly and her memory will forever live in our hearts.

Funeral services will be on Friday, November 25th at 5:00pm at Hodges Funeral Home.
