Betty Jo (Cadenhead) Robertson

Betty Jo Robertson passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 75. She was surrounded by loved ones as she was called home to Heaven. Betty will be remembered forever as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Family meant more to her than anything in the world and the time she spent with family was her most cherished.

Betty was born in Ft. Myers, Florida on November 12th, 1948 to Ivy David and Irene Cadenhead. Betty was raised in Naples, Florida and lived there her entire life. She graduated from Naples high school, went on to complete a college degree and met the love of her life, Robby. She started her own family in Naples and was blessed with three daughters she absolutely adored. Her daughters along with her four grandchildren were the center of her world and she believed her family to be her greatest achievement.

Betty devoted herself to the family business her father built, working alongside her brother for over 45 years. Additionally, her passion for travel inspired her to establish a travel agency with her sister that they ran together for many years. In her free time, Betty enjoyed traveling, painting, watching sunsets at the beach, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She believed in leading with compassion, friendship and unconditional love. She was well known within the Naples community and will be remembered for her caring heart and generosity.

Betty will be deeply missed and is survived by her daughters Stacy (Jay Tinkley), Kimberly Robertson Black (Chris), and Robyn; her grandchildren Mackenzie Black, Ryan Black, Avery Black, Johnathan Tinkley, her sister Judy Ann (Cadenhead) Blake, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley (Robby) Robertson, her father Ivy David Cadenhead, her mother Irene Cadenhead, and her brother Robert (Bobby) Cadenhead.

A memorial service to celebrate Betty's life will be held on June 22, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 388 1st Avenue South in Naples, Florida.
