Bill was born and grew up in Saanich/Victoria. He lived in many places on Vancouver Island as well as on the farm in Nova Scotia.
Bill is survived by his children – Teri, Brian (Heather), Debby (Shane), and Gordon (Sharon). He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and several great-children.
He is also survived by his sisters – Edy, Pat (Russ), Peg (Mike) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bill is predeceased by his wife of many years, Jan.
Bill had many jobs over the years – was a cross Canada truck driver for Allied Van Lines, a bus driver for Brentwood College as well as several other driving positions both on the island and in Nova Scotia.
Dad loved his dogs and he loved to go camping, fishing and hunting in his younger years with his longtime friends as well as family.
Dad will be missed greatly by all his family and close friends and we take comfort in knowing his family was with him in his final moments.
