I was so sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing.  Besides memories of Christmas and New Year's dinners at the Silvers I fondly remember Marilyn:

Singing at my wedding in 1976 at St Matthews United Church.
Seeing Marilyn as the principal of a high needs Calgary school when I worked for the YWCA of Calgary providing the Lifeprints program.
I rented her little house when she went to the Maritimes for the summer.

Special, special lady for sure!!!  Always giving, giving, giving to her friends and to the community.  Taken to young.

Please accept my sincere condolences.  I had known Marilyn through Donna & Rick Waraksa for many years. I was pleased to be included in the "Island Girls" trip since I moved to Vanc. Island.  Her cards were lovely & I appreciated getting them for my birthday from Donna.

I was very sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing.  She was a well liked and respected teacher and administrator with the Calgary Board of Education. She leaves a strong legacy in the positive impact she made on the lives of hundreds of students.  Please accept my sincere condolences.

Bobbi, Jim and family,
I want to express my condolences to all of  you that loved Marilyn so much. She was my best friend  for the past 54 years and we made many good memories. Marilyn had a great life and will be missed by so many but when someone you love becomes a memory, the memories become treasures .
