It is with great sadness that the Rempel family announce the peaceful passing of Larry Rempel in Nanaimo, B.C. on September 26, 2022 at the age of 63. Survived by his loving wife, Dee; son, Steven; daughters, Kristina and Catherine; 4 grandchildren; his mother, Arlene; sisters, Debbie, Sharon; and many other family and friends.
Larry will be remembered most for his passion for the outdoors, working on his acreage, his love of boating – crabbing and prawning. He was especially proud of hosting long weekend campouts on his property which will provide lasting memories for his family and friends.
One highlight of Larry’s working career was to achieve his journeyman saw filing ticket and was proud to work in this field.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends at the Nanoose Library Hall on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 1:30 to 4:30. An open campfire at the Rempel acreage starting at 7pm for anyone wanting to spend the evening laughing and sharing memories.
