He was born on the kitchen table, very proud of that, in Myrtle Scotland on April 8, 1922. Born to his loving and devoted parents Charles and Elizabeth Colley, having an older brother Alexander. They were his everything.
Charlie was a man of great honour, with the kindest heart, highest values, compassionate and caring beyond measure, distinguished manners, and he was exceptionally proud of being Scottish. He was a person of Faith, respected by all. He was immensely Loving and had the most outstanding sense of humour. He made everyone laugh and gave off the brightest light to all those that were blessed to know him.
Charlie’s most favourite saying was; “It’s nice to know you’re not forgotten by the ones you can’t forget.”
Each and everyone that knew Chay, as his family called him, adored and cherished him with all their hearts, and would fall in Love with Charlie immediately. His spirit of Joy always glowed.
Charlie was extremely proud of his darling wife Milly, who was the absolute Love of his life. She will be singing to him in Heaven with a broad smile and won’t let go of hugging him, along with his Mom and Dad and brother.
