

She was born on June 4, 1929 in Newton, Kansas, to parents William and Mary Dusembury. Mrs. Glazier was a former longtime resident of the Appleby area of Nacogdoches County, Texas, before moving to Killeen in recent years.
She grew up in hard times and knew how to survive. She learned to be strong willed and determined.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Alford Glazier; son, Joe David Glazier; son-in-law, Gerald Fleshman; and a grandson, Christopher Glazier.
Her survivors include her sons, William "Al" Glazier and wife Carolyn of Nacogdoches, Texas, Grover Glazier and wife Margaret of Missouri, and Paul Glazier and wife Lydia of Harker Heights, Texas; daughters, Susan Tackett and husband John of Killeen, Texas, Diane Fleshman of Waco, Texas, and Mary Tresner and husband Lee of Nacogdoches, Texas; daughter-in-law, Shawna Glazier of Tribune, Kansas; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives.
A celebration of her life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Bro. Sonny Scarborough officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Bethel Cemetery in Appleby, Texas.
Friends and family are invited to visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
