Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1939, Ron graduated from South Milwaukee High School where he excelled in basketball & baseball. His love of playing competitive sports continued through his 30's. He loved to spend days on the lake fishing, and after moving to Nacogdoches, Texas in 1978, he was the first bowler to bowl a sanctioned "300" perfect game at the local bowling alley. He was employed at Kyle in South Milwaukee from 1963 to 1978 and transferred to the affiliate company in Nacogdoches, Cooper Industries, where he mentored many as a caring supervisor, retiring in 1999.
Ron was a supportive and fun-loving dad, papa, and friend. Always a highly skilled carpenter and craftsman, he would wholeheartedly tackle any project he set out to accomplish. He loved helping and teaching others and was the first to volunteer his expertise and knowledge.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Donna Mae Wapp-Krolski, a loving, devoted wife of 60 years, and his sole caregiver for the past 3 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Michelle "Shelly" Roberts and son-in-law, Brian Roberts; son, Michael Scott Krolski; grandchildren, Ryan Austin Hail, Jordan Michael Krolski, and Shirley Ann Krolski; brother, Duane Krolski and wife Debra Krolski; brother-in-law, Ronald Wapp; sister-in-law, Shirley Krolski; and nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Krolski; mother, Laura Krolski; and father, Frank Krolski.
