

Funeral service for Randall Hollis Ward, 57, of Nacogdoches will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Bro. Paul Sevar officiating. Additional service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Old Shongaloo Methodist Church in Shongaloo, Louisiana, with Bro. Charles Gardner officiating.
Randy passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010, in Nacogdoches, Texas.
He was born March 30, 1953, in Haynesville, Louisiana, to Hollis Herbert and Hazel Marie Wynn Ward.
Randy was a graduate of Shongaloo High School and Louisiana Tech. He worked for Pilgrim Pride for over 20 years. He was presently employed by Ceva Biomune in Kansas City. He enjoyed fishing, and was a true family man who enjoyed spending time with his family when he wasn’t working.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Jack Farrington; two brother-in-laws, George and Freddie Farrington.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Janice Ward; son, Randall “Cory” Ward and wife Kaela (Hudspeth) of Nacogdoches, Texas, and soon to be grandson, Casen Ward; sister, Marilyn Ward of Ruston, Louisiana and her children Chris McCullin and Tammy Kennedy and husband Mark; mother-in-law, Mary Farrington; sister-in-laws, Mabel Baker and husband Ronnie and Sandra Farrington; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Pallbearers will be; John Henry Holloway, Michael Chandler, Travis Cigainero, Jason Ballard, Jim Basler, Bruce Roberson.
Honorary pallbearer will be; Steve Hill.
