Peggy Darlene (Rasure) Petty

Peggy Darlene (Rasure) Petty of Nacogdoches passed away April 1, 2020, at her home at the age of 69. She was born November 15, 1950, in Gainesville, Texas to parents Cleo Rasure and Kathleen Clark Rasure.

She worked as a hair stylist, and retired as Director of Human Resources at Memorial Hospital. Some of Peggy’s hobbies included cutting hair, fishing, yard work including feeding the wildlife, and she enjoyed spending time with her grand kids. She attended Harmony Missionary Baptist Church with her husband, Donald.

Mrs. Petty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Petty; sister, Kathy Smith.

She is survived by: daughter, Sherri Faires and husband Bubba; son, Jason Stiles; son, Scott Stiles and wife Brandy; grandchildren, Casey Faires, Shelby Faires, Amanda Faires, Addyson Stiles, Ava Stiles, and Jaxson and Jasper Stiles; sister, Patricia Tribble; brothers, Malcolm Rasure and Billy Rasure.

A private graveside service will be held.

If desired, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of East Texas.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, Nacogdoches.
