Paula Anne Hill of Nacogdoches passed away Monday, January 13, 2020, at her home at the age of 63. She was born August 3, 1956, in Shiloh Valley, Illinois to parents Eugene Dempsey and Eula Mae (Clifton) Chapman.
Paula was an animal lover whose hobbies included gardening, cross-stitching, quilting, and crafting. When able, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was extremely proud of her three sons, the men they became, and the women they have in their lives.
Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Eddie Hill; mother, Eula Mae Chapman; sons, Matthew V. Parkman and wife Jessica, Douglas Edward Hill and wife Wendy, and Bradley Hill and wife Colleen; grandsons, Billy Norton and Joshua Hill; granddaughters, Pepper Jane Hill and Caroline Hill; brother, Dennis Chapman and wife Donna; and numerous cousins and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiated by The Reverend Hector Arvizu. A private interment will follow at Helpenstell Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Paula’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
