Mildred Faye Jorgensen

She was a member of Garrison Church of Christ, Stafford Church of Christ, Texas City Church of Christ, Clear Lake Church of Christ, North Street Church of Christ, and Southeast Church of Christ.

Mildred was a supporter of Harvest House Food Pantry in Nacogdoches, Lifeline Chaplaincy in Houston and Hope for Haiti’s Children through Southwest Church of Christ.

Survived by son, Randy King; daughter, Paula King Rutledge; daughter-in-law, Deborah Gulick King; step sons, Kirby and Gregory King; grandchildren, Collin King, Clayton King and Emily King Wilcox and great grandchildren, Canaan King, Colten King, Jacob King, Andrew King, Kinley King, Jake Wilcox and Briley Wilcox.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Niels Jorgensen and Tommy King and her mother, Iris Shumate Smith Weatherly and her father, Curtis Wayne Smith and nephew Chuck Smith.

A graveside service for Mildred will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Holly Springs Cemetery.
