Mrs. Margaret L. Mayfield, 92, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at her residence.
Mrs. Mayfield was born Nov. 13, 1923, in Henderson, Texas, and was a former resident of Houston, Texas. She had lived in Nacogdoches for the past several years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a graduate of Rice University.
Her survivors include her daughter, Sue McDonald; and sons, Charles Mayfield and Mike Mayfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Mayfield, in 2014.
Private services are being conducted.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.
