Joseph Gene Hasley, age 80, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, in Nacogdoches. He was born September 16, 1941, in Nacogdoches County to parents Wilton Howell Hasley and Sarah (Green) Hasley.
Mr. Hasley enjoyed reading and working on tractors. He worked as a logger and was a member of The Masonic Lodge Swift #678.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; and all 8 siblings, Ann Hasley, R.E. Hasley, Wilton Hasley, Clovis Perkins, Rufus Reppond, Butch Reppond, Garland Reppond, and Lillie Mae Snow.
He is survived by his wife, Edna (Curbow) Hasley; daughter, Karen Counts; son, Cal Hasley; granddaughter, Candace Spain and husband Braxton; and great-granddaughter, Ginny Spain.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965. A private graveside service will occur Saturday, August 6, 2022.
