Jeanne Robinson

Mrs. Jeanne Montgomery Robinson, age 74, formerly of Nacogdoches passed away in Reston, Virginia, surrounded by her family on January 22, 2014. She was born in Brownwood, Texas, on March 22, 1939 to parents Curtis and Winifred Montgomery.

A memorial service will take place in Reston, Virginia on Tuesday, January 28, at 2:30, for her local friends and family. Nacogdoches friends and family are invited to a service conducted Thursday, January 30, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Dr. Allen Reed officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Ronald.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her son, James Robinson and wife Norita from Ireland; daughter, Sheryle Robinson of Reston, Virginia; and three grandchildren: Conor, Aisling and Roisin Robinson.

While in Nacogdoches she was a member of First Baptist Church and an active member of the choir. She also participated in the English as a Second Language program at the church. Before retirement she worked in the department of adult learning at Stephen F. Austin State University.
