James Thomas Henderson Jr.

JT served his country in the United States Air Force from 1965-1968 during Vietnam. He was the owner/operator of Henderson Plumbing that he opened here in Nacogdoches in 1977. He retired in 2022. JT was the President of Emu Society and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of New Hope Church.

He is survived by: wife, Delena Henderson; daughters, Jamie Carrington and Christie Phillips; brothers, Ronnie Henderson and Joseph Henderson and wife Kelly; sisters, Easter and Wanda; step-daughter, Michaela Farr and husband Jeremy; grandchildren, Taylor, Payton, Amber, Brian, Hannah, Juniper, Jack and Jude; great-grandson, Demetry.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00 AM, New Hope Church, Nacogdoches, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Godtel Ministries, 1902 Douglass Rd, Nacogdoches TX 75964.
