Jacqueline (Wallace) Allison, age 97, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, in Nacogdoches. She was born November 5, 1925, in San Luis Obispo, California to parents Glenn W. and Ula (Perkins) Wallace.
Jacqueline graduated from high school in Redwood City, California. She worked as a homemaker, business owner, and a home interior decorator. Her hobbies included sewing, oil painting, cooking, and gardening. She loved traveling abroad and RVing in the United States and Canada. Places she traveled included Indonesia, Fiji, India, Nepal, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Kenya, Central America, Hawaii, and China. In recent years she knitted or sewed baby blankets for the Heartbeat Pregnancy Center of Nacogdoches and made lap quilts for Veterans of Valor.
Mrs. Allison was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jerry Wallace; and three husbands, Floyd F. Thill, Donald Holmberg, and Karl Allison.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Eugene Thill and wife Marcia of Nacogdoches, Texas, Carolyn Yvonne Tol and husband Ralph of Santa Cruz, California, and John Wallace Thill and wife Kathy of Soquel, California; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, Nacogdoches.
