Fay Williams

Fay was raised in Nacogdoches and settled in Alum, Texas after the children were in school until high school years when she returned to Nacogdoches. She became a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 1983 and had a long career with Nacogdoches Medical Center. Fay loved all animals especially her cats and she enjoyed working with miniature horses. She enjoyed being around family, and fishing and camping with them.

Survived by her daughter, Gay Lynn Smith; son, Clifford Ray Williams, Jr and wife Pam; daughter, Debra Fay Thompson; daughter, Teresa Ann Williams; grandchildren, Michael Scott Smith, Lydia Joan Smith, Becky Raelynn Smith and partner Ricky Blanco, Terea Joann Covington and husband Justin, Ervin James Williams, and James Ray Williams; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, James Ray Matlock and wife Donna.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Williams; sister, Barbara Ann Weathery; brother, Thomas Orvin Matlock.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held, 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 14, 2021, Sunset Chapel at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Isabell Chapel Cemetery.
