Eddie Arwine, age 72, of Midlothian, Texas passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020, in Nacogdoches, Texas as a result of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). He was born November 13, 1947, in Dallas, Texas to the late L.M. and Janie Arwine.
Eddie was married to the love of his life, Martha J. Tucker, for 51 years and was a member of First Baptist Church Midlothian. He was a 1966 graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas, and served in the United State Marines. Eddie was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and they are grateful and blessed to have been a part of his life. A beloved patriarch to his family, Eddie was a devoted husband and true friend to all. He lived with a song in his heart and deep commitment to his faith in God.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Martha; his children Ryan Arwine and spouse, Charity; Kyle Arwine; and Lindsey Arwine and her partner, Tabitha Hardy; grandchildren Aidan, Corbin, and Greyson Arwine; guardian granddaughter, Destiny Bellamy; brothers, Robert Arwine and spouse, Betty; Leslie Arwine and spouse, Melinda; sister-in-law, Sue Frettoloso-Kidwill and spouse, Bear; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Midlothian-Student Center, 1680 S. Midlothian Pkwy., Midlothian, Texas, 76065.
