Fred enjoyed woodworking and watching westerns. He was an electrician for over 20 years with Nacogdoches ISD.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, grandparents and nephew, Lance Knight.
Survivors include: mother, Pat McCallister; father, Donald Ray and wife Celia; wife, Judi Ray; daughters, Jennifer Cranford and husband Casey, Carli Koehne and husband Jeff, Kristen Bishop and husband Jeremy; son, Jason Ray and wife Jennifer; 13 grandchildren; nephews; brothers, Bill, Bobby and Michael; and sisters, Sharon and Cathy.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, Nacogdoches, Texas.
