Debbie was a cardiac nurse and then served as a school nurse at Central Heights ISD for 12 years. She received a master’s degree in Nursing Education and was working towards completing nurse practioner. Debbie was a member of First Baptist Church.
She enjoyed gardening, painting, visiting with friends and family. Debbie loved to shop at Roundtop, Texas and watching her children dance and play baseball. She also enjoyed her bible study and her relationship with God was the centerpiece of her life.
Survived by her husband, Brian Glymph; daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Glymph; son, Jackson Mizell Glymph; sisters, Jeanie Green and husband Ronnie and Leah Moore and husband Lane; nieces and nephews, Megan Bryant, Gwendelyn Elliott, William Moore, Adrian Moore and Colin Moore; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Carl Owens, Elizabeth Owens Bryant, Gail Carroll Godbold, and Wade Earnest Godbold, Sr.
A visitation will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 411 North Street, Nacogdoches, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM officiated by Pastor Dr. Noel Dear.
Debbie will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the Glymph family has requested a scholarship fund be set up in the memory of Nurse Debbie. Contributions can be made to the Central Heights ISD Debbie Glymph Memorial Scholarship Fund at any Cadence Bank location.
