Billy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in AG Science. He was an Air Force Veteran serving from 1951/8-12-1954. Billy worked as a mechanic and was a fireman. He loved building things and repairing things to help other people. Billy was a member of First Baptist Church in Nacogdoches and served with the Texas Baptist Men.
Survivors include: Sons, Bradley and Stanley; Grandchildren, Benjamin, Joshua, Kasey, Duncan, Megan, and Emily; great-grandchild, Judah.

A memorial service for Billy will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965.
