Austin Michael Jordan of Nacogdoches passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in Fort Stockton, Texas at the age of 20 years, 5 months, and 10 days. He was born October 2, 1998, in Columbia, Tennessee to parents Michael and Heather Jordan.
Austin was a kind-hearted man that was very well liked by all who knew him. He was always helpful to others, and he stood up for people when they needed it. He loved different types of music and would often try to listen to it as loudly as he could. He certainly stood out from the crowd. He was an amazing person that will be missed by everyone who knew him.
In his free time, he liked to play Frisbee Golf in the park with friends. He also enjoyed video games, music, cars & trucks, and graffiti. He was a great dad and loving husband who was excited about his new job as a pipefitter to provide for his family.
Austin was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Harold Jordan; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Sweet; grandmother, Leslie Sweet; aunt, Michelle Nawrot; great-grandfather,Thomas Vogt; great-grandmother, Helen Jordan; and great-grandparents, Elizabeth and Woodrow Sweet.
He is survived by his wife of 11 months, Angie Jordan; son, Liam Oliver Jordan; parents, Michael and Heather Jordan; sister, Ashley Phillips and husband Alex; brother-in-law, Carlos Zamarron and wife Patricia; father-in-law, Carlos Zamarron; mother-in-law Magaly Zamarron; brother-in-law, Abraham Zamarron; brother-in-law, Alejandro Zamarron; nephew, Levi Zamarron; grandparents, David and Susan Jordan; grandmother, Peggy Smith; grandfather, Jack Sweet, great-grandmother; Maryjane Vogt; great-grandmother Violet Huff, and many other relatives and dear friends.
A visitation will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. The service will be officiated by Pastor Doug Jones and Pastor Ricardo Garcia. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
