William J. Schultz went home to meet his Heavenly Father on September 28, 2010 at Sanctuary at the Park where he was a resident and given much love. He was 85, born April 19. 1925 in Newaygo, Michigan. William was founder of Schultz Septic Tank Business and retired supervisor at Continental Motors. He was a gifted mechanic and enjoyed his work. William was an avid hunter. He loved God’s creation of nature where he would find peace with prayer and meditation. William was a humorous gifted story teller. He loved children, especially his grandchildren and visits from the employees’ children. Bill will be dearly missed by his family and Sanctuary at the Park. He is survived by his children, Marilyn (Bud) Fiser, Carilyn (Roy) Bartos, Linda Schultz and Rosemary (Randy) McCarthy; grandchildren, Lanette (Tony) McCleary, Chad (Chris) Fiser, Brian (Angie) Bartos, Eric (Cori) Bartos, Kristen Schultz, Randy, Miranda and Matthew McCarthy; great-grandchildren, TJ McCleary, Kaitlyn and Faith Fiser and Jacob Schultz; He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Angela (Gancarz) Schultz, by sons, Edward and John Schultz and by a grandson, Zachary Schultz. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1206 N. Whitehall Rd., with the Rev. William Uetricht officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday at Ever Rest Funeral Home. Interment at E. Dalton Oakhill Cemetery.
