Bill was a man of faith, and was a practicing Catholic. In his younger years, he proudly served his country as a Navy Serviceman. After his military service, Bill was a teacher in the Mona Shores School District, teaching a wide variety of subjects, including Spanish, geography, and more for many years. In his retirement, he continued his educational service through volunteer work. He was also a regular at the Lakeshore Fitness Center, formerly the YMCA, since 1985.
Bill is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Richie, niece Lisa Ann Lorenzi and her husband Carlo;
