Richard grew up in Hart, Michigan and relocated to Muskegon when we was 18. He married his love, Marjorie, in 1944 and the couple spent many wonderful years together. He worked for Muskegon Piston Ring after he moved to Muskegon, and he worked there until he retired as a Manager of Manufacturing at age 65. He loved to spend his time playing golf, fixing things, playing cribbage, taking his monthly trips to the casino, going for breakfast at the senior center, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and spending quality time with his family. Richard was a loving and generous man with so much integrity. As his family would say, “He was the best man in the world!” Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
