Mr. Richard Gordon Hathaway, age 75, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. He was born in Oshkosh, WI on July 29, 1937 to William and Ethel (Domke) Hathaway. Richard is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia; children, Christopher (Teresa) Hathaway of Kent City and Rhonda Hathaway (Steinburg) of TN; step-children, Debbie (John) Pearson of Holton, Randy (Kelly) Guss of Hudsonville and Karen (Ed) Gartland of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard was a HAM Radio operator for over sixty years and had been a member of the Muskegon Area Amateur Radio Council. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial at Laketon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Muskegon Area Amateur Radio Council.
