Orlene M. Williams, age 82 passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011. She was born on September 16, 1928 and at age 6 was adopted into the Swartz family. In 1947 she married Lewis Hartman Sr. and later she was married to Lloyd R. Williams and he preceded her in death in 1996. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Lewis Jr. in 1972 and her twin brother at birth. Orlene is survived by four daughters, Connie (Brian) Slager, Annie (Brian) Slade, Lila (Mark) Newald and Julie (Gene) Medacco; four stepdaughters, 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, Gilda (George) Thompson; brother, Wally, numerous family members and many friends at Northcrest Assisted Living. Orlene was a member of Anchor of Hope Church, 2815 W. Giles Road where a time of fellowship with refreshments will be held on Tuesday, August 16th from 1 to 2:45 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Cadle officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Activity Fund at Northcrest Assisted Living. Interment will be next to her twin in Laketon Township Cemetery on her 83rd birthday, Friday, September 16, 2011.
