Michael Lorentz

Mike was born March 24, 1953, the son of Alfred and Marie (Lasko) Lorentz. He graduated from Muskegon High School in 1971. He married Nancy Sills on October 23, 1981 and together they enjoyed nearly 40 years of marriage. He retired after 28 years of service at the Muskegon Waste Water Treatment Facility. Mike was a past member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, tinkering around the workshop, gardening, antiquing, and a good party. He especially loved being with his grandchildren, teaching them about the good things in life, while watching them grow up. He was a creative, generous, laid back, friendly, out-going man who will be deeply missed.

Mike is survived by: his wife, Nancy; children, Michael (Dana) Lorentz II, and Sarah (Tim) Moss; grandchildren, Aiden, Olivia, and Andrew; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents and brother; and in-laws, Raymond and Donna (Cooper) Sills.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
