Martin G. Vargo, age 82, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy; seven children, Michael (Patsy) Vargo, Denise (Randy) Ellis, Patrick (Linda) Vargo, Martin Vargo, Kirk (Mary Jo) Kroening, Denise Vos, Becky (Bill) Carlson; 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren. Marty was preceded in death by a son, Gordon; 2 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson, along with his canine companion, Penny. He was retired from Lift-Tech after 29 years of service. He was a longtime member of the Eagles and enjoyed working in his yard and garden. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to his in laws for the loving care given to him during his illness. Funeral services will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2011, with Pastor Marc Livingston officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m.
