Lorraine Meredith Gagnon

She was born on July 13, 1940 in Copemish, MI to Lawrence O. and Mildred (Milliron) Harju. Lorraine had worked for Huntington Bank for many years until her retirement. Lorraine enjoyed sewing, crafting, and most of all being with her family. She was a simple, loving, and caring woman who will be deeply missed. On June 20, 1959, she married William “Bill” Gagnon Sr. who preceded her in death on October 3, 2014.

Lorraine is survived by her four children: Annette (Rick) Jones of Muskegon, Sue (John) Johnson of Holton, Bill (Anne) Gagnon Jr. of Muskegon, Bob & (Kelly) Gagnon of Muskegon; eight grandchildren: Bryan Johnson, Nic (Samara) Johnson, Jeremy (Sabrina) Jones, Lisa (Phil) Joslyn, Megan (Joe) Daricek, Casey Gagnon, Tyler Gagnon, Nicole Gagnon; eight great-grandchildren, Kyna, Ariana, Rylee, Nora, Morgan, Mason, Hailey and Hunter; and by four sisters, Ellice (Don) Franklin, Nancilu Doctor, Paula Biddle, Shirlee Harju; one brother, Dan (Jana) Harju.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Larry Harju, sisters, Marialice Harju and Judy Harju, and by her granddaughter, Ashley Gagnon.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and a private family service is being planned.
