Linda Lea Christensen

Linda Lea Christensen, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 after battling cancer for 18 months. She was born on June 29, 1949 and lived her entire life in Muskegon, MI. Linda loved to travel and spend time with her grandchildren, it was rare for her to miss a school concert or sporting event.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James & Iris Wood; son, Gabriel Gonzalez; brothers, Ronald McCollum (Sandra), and Terry Wood; husband, Steve Barnes; grandson, Ari Gonzalez.

She is survived by her children, Tonya Pollock, Damon Wood, and Selina Cooper (Jim); grandchildren, Darion Beasley Jr., Whitney Pollock, Emelia Sanchez, Nicole Wood, Ashlee Wood, Gabriel Wood, E'liyah Gonzalez, Alexa Gonzalez, Brielle Gonzalez, Brianna Hawn, and Hunter Hawn; Great Grandchildren, Aurora Pollock, Reuby Stavn, Holden Beasley, Hudson Froster, and Rhetten Froster; brothers, Leroy Girard (Theresa), and Larry Girard; the father of her children, Florencio Gonzalez (Cheryl) and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442. A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11am and the Memorial service will follow at 1pm.
