Lenora “Nonie” Parker, born November 19, 1917 to Charles and Katherine (Welchselberger) Miller, went to meet the Lord on Saturday, December 31, 2011. She married Henry F. Parker on November 19, 1936. Lenora is survived by a daughter, Marcia (Collison) & Gary Vladika of West Olive; brother, Raymond (Pat) Miller of IN; grandchildren, Don (Sheila) Mergener of AZ, John (Leigh) Mergener of Grand Haven, Kim (Steve) Yager of Traverse City, Stacey Collison of FL, Mark Collison of CA, Hank (Lynn) Parker of NC, Troy (Heather) Ryder of Grand Haven, Melissa (Ron) Griswold of Muskegon and Jason Parker, U.S. Navy; many great and great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Thurman (Dot) Parker of IN; sister-in-law, Barbara Williams of TN; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Bill; grandson, Randy; granddaughter, Chris; sister, Dea. Lenora was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake, Grand Haven Senior Center, Foxy Ladies Red Hat Group and past-president of the Grand Haven Eagles #925 Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, reading, crocheting and playing cards. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 6, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spring Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time from 10 to 11 AM at the Church. Burial at Lakeshore Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake or Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
