So sorry for Larry's passing. He lived a great life with the grace of God. He was a great friend and mentor. I enjoyed many years of bowling and good times with my old friend and his children that I knew...He will be greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved him. He is once again with the love of his life, Joyce....our happy memories of our loved ones stay forever in our hearts....

Lawrence,  our Mom's Cousin, was a  very special man.  Lawrence helped many with   our roofs!  He  visited Mom often.  We considered Lawrence a part of the family and  enjoyed his company and ,his optimistic attitude that  came from his love of God!
.   He is missed.

Unfortunately I was only able to meet this
handsome man only a handful of times, but
every time was always a delightful
experience. I always remember Grandpa
(Michael's Grandpa) always having a smile on
his face and always spoke with kind words.
Michael would tell me stories of him with his
grandparents even funnier ones that they would tell him of them growing up when
Michael was younger. Michael sure does look
up to his grandpa and inspires to be like him
as his getting older. We do love and miss you
always. Rest easy grandpa we are so happy
you are reunited with grandma

Oh my sweet uncle Lawrence!  Never without a smile unless you were talking roofing with him and then it was like he was in a trance talking you through the process and keeping it “just perfect” as he would say.  He wanted everything he had a hand in to be “just right”….he took so much pride in every roof he did.
   We’ll listen for those perfect games in every thunderstorm uncle Lawrence!

Uncle Lawrence was a fabulous Uncle that we loved so much. He will truly be missed. He will always have a special place in my heart. We spent a lot of time in Muskegon with him and Aunt Joyce and family. I hope he is smiling and happy as he is now reunited with his true love Aunt Joyce and brothers.  I will love and miss you forever Uncle Lawrence!

My fondest memory of Larry was running into him frequently at Sam’s Club. I could ALWAYS count on a hug, an “I love you” and him telling me how Blessed he was; how the Good Lord blessed him every day. He sure was one of the good guys.
My daughter married Larry Jr. so my grandkids can be proud of grandpa Dixon…

Best Uncle ever no words to describe his kindness and compassion. Already sadly missed.

Larry will be truly missed. I remember him when I use to go bowling at Muskegon Lanes in North Muskegon. He was the manager out there. He always had a smile and liked to tease. My girls really liked hanging around him, sometimes getting into trouble. I also remember Larry at Sam's Club walking around greeting workers and shoppers.  My condolences to the family and may God be with you during this time.
