Mr. Larry Allen Taylor, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. He was born in Coopersville, MI on January 28, 1947 to Ernest H. and Dorothy V. (Eller) Taylor. Larry is survived by his 3 children, Sherri (Tony) Randall of KY, Scott (Cathleen) Taylor and Larry M. (Rachelle Martinez) Taylor both of Ionia, MI; 2 step-children, David (Diane) Redmon of Montague and Malissa Cooper of Norton Shores; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; loving partner, Barbara Wilson; sister, Linda Betz Weslock of Muskegon; 2 nephews, Mark and Rich Betz; niece, Lisa Betz. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a step-son, Willis Redmon. A special thank you to Mike for his loving care of Larry. Larry had retired from Supreme Machine in Spring Lake and was a member of Ecclesia Church. He enjoyed his grandkids, golf and his dog. Larry was a fan of various sports teams including the Red Wings, Tigers and U of M. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Ecclesia Church, 1050 W. Southern Ave. in Muskegon. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 PM at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Private burial at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
